It is now confirmed, the long awaited Guild Wars 2 has yet to be released this year of the Dragon. Also, with the open beta for public that is rumored to be launched sometime in April.
Guild Wars 2 is one of the 25 most anticipated video games of 2012. It created a lot of hype recently; videos, blog posts, trailers and podcasts have been circulating the web as the upcoming game becomes even closer to our hands.
Mike O’Brien, the president of ArenaNet, happily stated today with the plans for open beta to precede with the full publishing of the highly awaited mmorpg sometime in 2012. Closed beta testing was done in the last months of 2011 and they’re preparing to launch the game to a bigger audience. It is said that gaming press members will get their first hands off the game, before possibly turning it on for the public.
Guild Wars 2 has evolved a lot from its series of successor, Guild Wars. The traditional quest system has been banished from the game, and it is said that the world will adapt and change based on the events or actions of the players. A whole new enhanced graphics and cinematic battles along with dynamic events will surely make the players get more addicted to this game.
